As an experienced RC hobbyist who specializes in tuning and bench-testing micro and mini scales, I have analyzed the HAIBOXING lineup. From the brushed 18859 workhorses to the high-performance 903A brushless platforms, these vehicles offer an excellent baseline for modification. My reviews below focus on mechanical integrity, electronics compatibility, and the impact of specific alloy upgrades.
I was recommended this truck by a friend and I am very impressed. The acceleration is very quick, right at the limit for this scale. The proportional steering is impressive for at stock rig. This thing is super durable. I have flipped it many times as well as rammed into a parking curb at full throttle...took it all in stride and kept on bashing!! I can't recommend this thing enough. With two 850mah 2s lipos I get about 45 minutes of solid bashing. For handling improvements I have added a wing and 1oz of weights to the rear. I have also cut 1 coil spring from the back shocks to adjust the weight bias to the back and soften the ride. It runs like a champ! I feel that this truck is easily worth double its selling price. I will be buying more things from Haiboxing.
Fantastic RC Truck meets all expectations!
I must say these little trucks are awesome, especially at this price point. I mean you’re all in with two batteries and a charger. I built a dirt track in my backyard and have been running it a lot of laps. I even built a ramp out of the Amazon box my truck arrived in. I’m a grown man and having more fun than ever. I bought another one for my kiddo so we can play together. Definitely recommend keeping it in slow mode until you get the hang of it.
If you’re a new to the RC world this is a great gateway drug haha. I’m hooked.
