A zippy little whirlwind – very fast – a great entry point into the hobby

The truck is 1/18 scale – 24.8 cm long, 20.2 cm wide, and 10.6 cm high.

The maximum speed is a whopping 36 km/h with fresh batteries.

The package also includes two LiPo batteries (7.4 volts with 850 mAh), a USB charger, 4 body clips, instructions in German, and a 2-channel remote control (4 modes).

The charger is sufficient for beginners – those who plan to pursue the hobby for a longer period should invest in a better charger.

Always charge under supervision and on a fireproof surface or in a protective container.

The batteries should also be stored in a fireproof container.

It should also be clarified whether all insurance matters have been settled.

Due to the vehicle's speed, a certain age should be observed – I would recommend 14+.

The vehicle's controls work well – both the steering and the speed control.

Thanks to the two batteries, a long driving time is guaranteed – over 30 minutes, depending on the speed.

Oh yes, thanks to four-wheel drive and vacuum tires, it always moves along quickly. Its climbing ability is excellent, and the differentials work well (3 cm ground clearance).

The shock absorbers are height-adjustable.

The 380 brushed motor works well and doesn't get too hot – a brushless motor can be used as an upgrade.

The ESC/receiver is waterproof and protects the motor well against overheating and shuts down in case of low voltage.

I also think the LED lights on the front are cool.

The manufacturer promises free replacement parts for 3 months – contact via the Amazon contact page, according to the product description.

As long as there's no user error, I'd assume that's the case – but even if it costs something, a spare parts supply would be nice.

The HAIBOXING 18859E makes a great impression right from the start.

The box is sturdy, clearly laid out, and the car inside is very well protected – nothing rattles, nothing flies around, everything seems thoughtfully packaged. This is exactly how you want an RC model to arrive.

After applying the decals and charging the batteries, it was time for the first drive outdoors.

The vehicle itself handles superbly.

You can definitely feel the 36 km/h, especially for its size, and thanks to 4WD, the little truck can handle a surprising amount of terrain – gravel, grass, dirt, no problem at all.

Thanks to the excellent suspension, everything works smoothly, nothing rattles, and the steering is precise and responsive.

``` With the two batteries, you get a decent runtime (not measured, but probably around 15-20 minutes per battery) – so you don't have to constantly recharge.

The build quality seems robust, the tires have good grip, and the electronics are reliable.

The vehicle even handles minor crashes and rollovers without any problems.

I'm also very happy with the remote control – it fits comfortably in the hand, connects instantly, and works without dropouts even at a greater distance.

I'd like to add a small personal note about the manufacturer, HAIBOXING:

The 18859E is available in several colors; in addition to this blue and black version, I also own one with orange and black accents.

Based on my experience with other models from this manufacturer, I can wholeheartedly recommend them, as they have all proven to be very robust (a prime example being the "bashing" version). :)

The 18859E model is a powerful, fast, and high-quality 1:18 scale RC car that's great fun for both kids and adults.

The packaging is excellent, the accessories are complete, and the performance is absolutely convincing.
